dnata: Voting on the negotiation result

We had consultations with dnata on December 6 and 12, 2023 about the new collective labor agreement. In contrast to previous years, unions and employers were able to find each other quickly in this consultation. There is a prospect of a sector collective labor agreement in 2025.

We therefore looked together at a 1-year collective labor agreement for the year 2024 with important agreements for colleagues within dnata. We have reached a negotiation result for this purpose and would like to explain what this result entails below. We are satisfied with the result! Members have received an invitation to vote to January 3, 2024 at 12:00 PM.

The content of the negotiation result

Loon
Salaries will be increased by 1% as of January 2024, 5, with a floor of €200. This means that everyone will receive a minimum wage increase of € 200. If 5% of the salary is more than € 200, you will receive 5%.

Adjustment of salary structure
In recent years, a nominal amount of salary increase has been given. A percentage was important to our supporters. We are happy that this is included in the pay increase. Afterwards, an increase of 2% was applied to the salary structure for all maximum scales. That means you have another 2% room to grow at the end of your scale. If you get a good review in April, you could get that 2% increase in salary.

Travel allowance for commuting and parking costs
Our position for many rounds of negotiations has been that you should not have to pay to come to work. We have taken a step in this direction. The travel allowance has been increased to
€0,23 per kilometer, which was currently €0,19 per kilometer. Every employee benefits from this. In addition, we have agreed that parking costs will not be increased in the coming year, even if parking costs at Schiphol are increased.

Indexation of fees
We requested and also granted an indexation for the contribution to medical expenses (Article 19, paragraph 2) and consignment (Article 11, paragraph 9). These will be sent per
January 1, 2024 indexed by 5%, equal to the wage increase.

Generation pact
Our proposal for the generation pact has been accepted by the employer. It will become a permanent agreement and it will be stated in the collective labor agreement that employees who work part-time can also make use of this. This only applies to employees who have a part-time percentage of at least 80%.
