dnata: vote result cao

February 01 2023

There has been a lot of voting for dnata's latest bid. The offer has been accepted by a majority of the members. 88% voted in favour. This means that you have a new collective labor agreement as of January 1, 2023 with a term until December 31, 2023. For the sake of completeness, you will find the written protocol here once again. The full collective labor agreement text will follow later.

What do the members think?

During the members' meeting and in the responses to the vote, the members gave points for attention. A selection of the points that we will have to continue to pay attention to in the next negotiations:

  • We cannot continue to make the increases in euros. The wage house is flattened and the employees in the higher scales are also affected. A percentage is desired in the following negotiations.
  • The 36-hour working week is widely supported, now it is only a pilot. We would like to see this throughout the organization.
  • We have to stay focused on better schedules, options are now being explored, but the need for healthy schedules is and will remain great.
  • We need to stay focused on workplace health requirements.

Newsletter

A number of members did not receive our newsletters, or they ended up in the spam folder. For those who have reported to us, we have resolved this issue. Share this newsletter with colleagues and check with colleagues who you know are members whether they have received the newsletter. If someone has not received the newsletter, let them email us. Because then a call to vote or the request for input for the new process will also arrive in time.

How further?

Working groups will be set up on the 36-hour working week and scheduling. To give concrete shape to and evaluate these pilots. In the meantime we will inform you about this and collect how it is experienced.

Employee involvement is increasing, but let's keep moving forward together. The wider it is worn, the more we can achieve. That indicates this result.
