Collective Labor Agreement Banks: Preparation of collective labor agreement consultation

October 08, 2021

The current CAO Banks expires on December 31, 2021. We have now had an initial meeting with the employers' organisation. This conversation has shown that, unlike last year, employers see financial scope to make substantive agreements with the trade unions about your terms of employment. We have set a number of negotiation dates, and we aim to have a new collective labor agreement by 1 January 2022.

I would like to know your opinion. Which topics do you think are important? Which employment conditions are currently insufficiently regulated or are you missing something at all? Is the bank where you work doing well economically? Which salary increase do you think is reasonable for the 2022 collective labor agreement? You can answer these questions by terms of employment survey to fill in. Do this no later than October 19, 2021. With your information, I will draw up a proposal letter that forms the basis for the upcoming collective labor agreement negotiations.

Agenda

October 25, 2021: vote draft proposal letter
November 8, 2021: submitting proposal letter
November 11, 2021: start of collective labor agreement consultation
November 29, 2021: collective labor agreement consultation
December 14, 2021: collective labor agreement consultation

Contact

In recent years, my colleague Harma Pethke has been your advocate. Recently De Unie decided to rearrange the work. In addition, the responsibility for the CAO Banks has ended up in my work package. My name is Inge de Vries, if you have any questions, you can reach me by sending an e-mail to: inge.de.vries@unie.nl or call me on: 06-5252 2091. I am happy to help you.

The financial world is not new to me. In addition to this collective labor agreement, I am also responsible for representing the interests of de Unie-members working at Rabobank and ING. I will work hard to make good agreements for the members in this sector.
