December 21 2022

Last week, negotiations took place again about the new VGZ CAO. We have now agreed on a number of points, but unfortunately we still have not reached an agreement on the wage increase.

Learning objectives and topics

We agree on the fiscal application of the travel costs in 2023 and 2024. Parental leave will be supplemented for 9 weeks to 70% of your salary instead of 70% of the maximum daily wage. There will also be a scheme to lease an electric bicycle. We dropped a number of points because we see that wages are very important to everyone at the moment.

Social plan

We can extend the social plan unchanged for 2 years.

Pay raise

VGZ would like a collective labor agreement for two years. They first offered 1% structurally on 2023 January 3,9 and 1% on 2024 January 3. During these consultations, VGZ adjusted the wage offer. On 1 January 2023 3,9% structurally and on 1 January 2024 3,5% structurally. We have indicated that we are not there yet.

Free Membership De Unie

In the current collective labor agreement, we have agreed that VGZ will pay for your Union membership in full for the first year. VGZ indicates that it considers it very important that employees are professionally represented in their employee interests at the collective labor agreement table and during their daily work. Your membership ends automatically after a year and you only have to fill in your details yourself. We arrange the contribution directly with VGZ.

The next consultation is on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. We hope that we can work it out then.
