Pension discussions

There have been two consultations between employers and trade unions about pensions. One was about the results of Ortec's calculators and the other about joint communication. Ortec's calculations were now available and they provide a good picture of the transition effects for all target groups. They do not constitute a reason for the social partners to make different choices. The results are included in the mandatory transition document. We have now gone through all but one part of the new pension scheme. The last thing is that as social partners we indicate why we consider the transition to the new pension system to be balanced. The pension fund must also think so afterwards, otherwise they will not accept the 'implementation assignment'.

The other consultation was about a new joint communication document for employees, participation and employers in the sector. Here you will find a summary of the scheme and the choices you can make at SBZ. You can also read that as soon as the transition document is ready, the members of the trade unions can vote on it. How, where and when will follow later; first put the 'last finishing touches'. To be continued soon.

Background information about pension
