Free membership and voting
We have made an agreement with VGZ about free membership De Unie. If you become a member now, you can also participate in the vote on your own employment conditions!
Structural salary increase
Just before the Christmas holidays we agreed on many topics. But we had not yet decided on the most important topic. After the last newsletter from De Unie members indicated that they thought a pay increase on January 1 was important. This is because it counts towards your pension. With this we have returned to the consultation. And we got out. The agreed wage increase is 5.5% structurally on January 1, 2024. This is for a collective labor agreement with a term of one year.
Internet allowance
In addition, there will be an internet allowance of €40 net per month. It doesn't matter how many days you work from home or how many hours a week you work.
Other topics
The paid parental leave for the first 9 weeks will increase from 70% to 80% of the actual salary. An agreement will be made for young people with student debt and an equal internship allowance for MBO, HBO and WO. “Reaching your retirement fit” has been formulated more sharply and will continue. Special leave in the event of death will also apply to an ex-partner if there are children. And there will be a study into career advancement and how to get promoted.
To vote
Now that we have achieved a result, we ask the members to vote. We would have liked to see the pay increase a little higher. But it does come into effect on January 1 and immediately counts towards your pension. In addition, the internet allowance, the same for everyone, is a good agreement. We were able to make good agreements on a number of other topics. The floor is now up to the members. They have received an invitation to vote. This is possible until January 24, 12.00:XNUMX noon.
