In the past period, members have been able to vote for a new collective labor agreement. An overwhelming majority agreed. Members of the other unions have also approved.
New CLA
Now that it has been agreed, there is a new collective labor agreement that runs from January 1, 2024 to January 1, 2025. This means the following:
- As of January 1, 2024, the salary scales and salaries will be increased by 5,5%. The salary increase will be paid retroactively in February. The increase will affect the pension basis for 2024.
- Home work allowance: VGZ will increase its working@home allowance (the home work allowance) as of January 1, 2024 in accordance with the fiscal space that arose at the end of 2023 (2,35 net per home working day as of January 1, 2024).
- Internet allowance: employees and temporary workers receive from
January 1, 2024 a monthly net allowance of 40 euros for internet at home. The amount of the compensation is the same for all employees, regardless of the part-time percentage and the number of working days from home. Employees with the same home address both receive the compensation. If the tax regime changes, VGZ and the trade unions will enter into consultation.
Continuation
Work will now begin on developing the texts of the new collective labor agreement. Regular consultations will also be resumed.
