Motor vehicles and two-wheelers: improved collective labor agreement and voting

January 19 2024

At the end of last year, we informed you about the status of the process for the new collective labor agreement for Motor Vehicles and Two-Wheelers. The members of De Unie had agreed to the negotiation result achieved at that time, but the other trade unions received a no in response from their supporters and called on BOVAG to submit an improved offer.

BOVAG and the unions have now returned to the table and a new collective labor agreement has been reached! You can do this agreement here read in its entirety.

The most important points in the new agreement are:

  • As of January 1, 2024, salaries and salary scales will be increased by 6%. This is the same increase as in the previous result and will now be applied retroactively.
  • As of August 1, 2024, salaries and salary scales will be increased by € 90, - assuming full-time employment. For a part-timer, this amount is calculated in proportion to the number of hours worked. This is 3% for a salary of € 3.000. In the previous agreement this was €80 as of October 1, 2024.
  • As of January 1, 2025, salaries and salary scales will be increased by 1,5%. This is a new increase in this agreement.
  • This concerns a term of 15 months (01-11-2023 to 31-01-2025). This was previously 12 months.

In short, this concerns a wage increase of 10,5% in 15 months.
