It has been quiet in recent weeks regarding the collective labor agreement negotiations, but that does not mean that nothing has happened! A new final offer has now been formulated by Heineken.

What happened
The voting results were diverse. Bee De Unie There was no agreement on the HG collective labor agreement, but there was an agreement on the HNS and HNL collective labor agreements. At MHP Heineken, there was no agreement on the HG and HNS collective labor agreements, but there was an agreement on the HNL collective labor agreement. The main reasons for our members voting against the total final offer were the remaining uncertainties about the introduction of the MMRP, including the removal of MMRP from the collective labor agreement. The other unions also do not have an agreement on all three collective labor agreements. In short; sufficient reason to informally explore whether we can reach an agreement for all three collective labor agreements. There has been a lot of consultation about this in recent weeks.
Renewed final offer
Based on that consultation, a new final offer was made by Heineken. In broad terms, the final offer entails the following:
- Duration 1 year (January 1, 2024 to December 31, 12);
- Structural wage increase of 1% as of January 2024, 7;
- Structural nominal wage increase of gross €800 per year (€66,66 per month), this was gross €600 per year (€50 per month);
- Introduction of MMRP for wage groups 20-25 on a voluntary basis as of January 1, 2025. More clarity has also been provided with regard to the introduction of the MMRP. On Wednesday, January 17, a consultation took place with the Works Councils about the role of participation. The result is included in the summary. De Unie / MHP Heineken realize that the result does not correspond on all points with the content of our joint efforts. Nevertheless, we believe that the updated final offer, including the clarification on the introduction of the MMRP, is realistic given the circumstances. For that reason, we have chosen to submit the updated final offer to you for a vote.
Stemming
Our advice is to wait for the information meeting and vote after the information meeting. The members have received an invitation to vote. This can be done until no later than Thursday, February 1, 12.00 noon.
