Today, March 28, 2024, a message appeared on Achmeanet in which all employees are informed by trade unions and Achmea.

We have been discussing this with Achmea for a long time. The subject is complex and it is also quite difficult to make choices. We have now reached agreement on a number of matters. For example, we assume a flexible arrangement and calculate with our desired maximum tax premium for the old-age pension. And we are happy with that. After all, Achmea has an excellent arrangement, and we want to keep it that way.
But we're not done yet. We still have to make a number of other decisions. Including about the 'average premium' compensation and the method of entry. The intention is that all agreements will eventually be written down in a so-called transition plan. It is important that we carefully consider the balance for all groups in all decisions. Active participants, sleepers, retirees, young, old and so on.
As soon as the transition plan is ready, the association of pensioners (and sleepers) may give their opinion on this in the context of the right to be heard. Then it's the Achmea employees' turn. But that is not the case yet. We will continue to work hard in the coming months. We will keep you informed.
