In this message we inform you about the negotiations for a new collective labor agreement for Arcadis Nederland (ANL).
CLA negotiations
We started collective labor agreement negotiations at the beginning of October 2023. In the months that followed, we have experienced that ANL struggles to come up with an attractive package of employment conditions for its employees. In the negotiating round of March 25, 2024, the ANL trade unions made a proposal to reach a solution on wages. Our proposal included a structural collective wage increase of 4% as of April and 4% as of October for a one-year collective labor agreement. This proposal was rejected by ANL because they cannot finance it. ANL then gave us a final offer on salary and term and the negotiations stopped.
Final offer
For a one-year collective labor agreement (2024), employers offer a wage increase of:
- 3,5% as of April 2024 for all wage groups.
- 2,0% for wage groups 1 to 8 as of October 1, 2024.
- 1,5% for wage groups 9 to 11 as of October 1, 2024.
In addition to wages, there are also other matters that ANL wants to change. Read all parts of the final offer here. A final offer means that the collective labor agreement parties have finished negotiating and that there is no agreement. This applies to all parts of the final offer.
Social Statute
The current collective labor agreement also contains the social statute that applies to reorganizations. This statute has a different (shorter) term than the collective labor agreement. The social status will be included (unchanged) in the final offer and extended until December 31, 2024.
Retirement
In response to receiving a final offer from ANL, the trade unions have indicated that they are suspending the ongoing pension negotiations indefinitely.
Stemming
Now that there is a final offer, it is up to the members to vote. The members have received an invitation to vote until April 16, 2024 at the latest. After that, the parties will quickly announce the results.
