During our members meeting last Thursday, March 25, 2021, we were able to exchange ideas with each other and give an initial response.
Treatment request for advice
De Unie works together with the works council: the COR to make the best agreements for you and your colleagues. The COR is now processing the RTS request for advice.
Report of the members' meeting
An uncertain situation has arisen for several members because they know that their position will be affected by the request for advice. I can imagine that there is a need for an explanation of the social plan or that there are legal questions, here goes De Unie to help!
The questions that came up in the general meeting put De Unie on the agenda of the periodic meeting with Aegon (April 8, 2021).
Questions from members include:
- The RTS request for advice is divided into different parts, what do the following phases look like?
- Not in all cases employees become redundant because their work is canceled, in some cases it seems that the work is shifted to external parties.
- Is the method of reflection correct? There are questions about this.
- Does Aegon want to reduce the number of redundancies by encouraging voluntary departure?
