In the previous consultation with asr, we discussed the collective labor agreement texts, pension, workload and the social plan were on the agenda.

We are currently working on the texts of the collective labor agreement. The 2,5% wage increase will be implemented on your March salary and last month you received the one-off payment of € 300.

Retirement

For pension, the agreement on the current indexation deposit and the possible indexations on this budget is on the table. The value stability of the current accrued rights in the old pension scheme will eventually come under pressure. We will be talking to asr about improving value retention in the period 2021-2025. Five consultations have been established to further develop this agreement together with Willis Towers Watson.

Social plan

The social plan has been discussed a few times in recent times. The current social security scheme was agreed at the end of November 2018 and will run until the end of 2021. In the social plan, an agreement has been made about the severance payment based on the transition payment applicable at the time. In 2020, the government changed the transition payment and adjusted it downwards. We have been informed that asr is applying this new, reduced transition payment.

We believe that this is not in accordance with the agreements made at the time and that asr should continue to apply the transition payment as it applied in 2018. Unfortunately, Asr thinks differently about this and does not want to adjust its policy regarding payment. In accordance with the text based on the statutory transition payment, asr has a point, but it has not been discussed in this way and the changes to the transition payment in 2018, when the agreements were made, were not yet a fact.

In addition, we have agreed that asr and trade unions will enter into discussions in the event of a major change in the law to discuss the impact of this and when it is necessary to revise the social plan. Naturally, we always make changes in consultation with members. We find the way in which asr is currently dealing with the social plan disappointing, but we cannot reach a solution in our discussions. Naturally, we hope that asr will still pay in 2018 in accordance with the agreements. We do want to inform our members and followers about this and we are curious about your reaction in this.
