Unfortunately, the employer delegation canceled the first meeting on Wednesday, February 28, at a late moment. According to the employer delegation, the unions' proposals were too far apart from what they consider responsible for the sector. From De Unie We are pleased that discussions to arrive at a new collective labor agreement have now started.
Union response
The unions would like to negotiate with the employer delegation to arrive at a new collective labor agreement. We have clearly stated this, which is sufficient to start negotiations.
We have been able to explain our proposals and the employers' delegation will respond substantively to them next time. On Wednesday, March 27, we will continue discussions with each other to arrive at a new collective labor agreement.
