Future of the pension scheme
During the last collective labor agreement negotiations, the parties agreed to conduct a study in 2021 into alternatives to the current pension scheme and to try to introduce new pension agreements by 1 January 2023 at the latest. That study is currently ongoing. Employers and unions are investigating the various possibilities, models and benefits with the help of the SBZ pension fund and external guidance. Not an easy job and in addition, it has recently become known that the introduction of the new pension law will be postponed by one year. What this exactly means for our agreements, we will certainly discuss with each other next time.

The current Collective Labor Agreement for Health Insurers has been entered into for a period of 12 months and runs from October 1, 2020 to October 1, 2021. On Monday, May 31, negotiations will start for a new collective labor agreement for the health insurers. That day we explain our proposal letters to each other.
