Retirement

In the case of pension, we opt for a defined contribution scheme as an interim solution for the coming years. How many years this will be has not yet been determined, but at least two to three years. This can be a maximum of five years, namely until January 1, 2027, before we have to switch to the new pension system. We are in the process of fleshing out the defined contribution scheme together with the help of an external pension expert. Questions we need to answer include:

  • How much pension premium do we put into the scheme and what does this yield 'net'?
  • With which interest rate scale do we calculate and can we count from the fund?
  • What are the costs of the scheme and also in relation to the revenues?
  • Which jars can we still use and do we put them in pension or other terms of employment?
  • Is it possible to achieve maximum tax accrual for employees and possibly still have fiscal space to save yourself?

On Thursday 9 September we want to have joint answers on the subject of pensions.

High

In addition to the pension consultation, the new collective labor agreement was also discussed. We have negotiated each other's proposals for the new collective labor agreement. We have or will agree on a large number of points, but we have a difference in particular on wages. Unions want a 3% collective wage increase and the employers offer 2%. The term is currently one year. We will discuss it further next time.

Continuation

On Thursday 9 September we will resume negotiations about pensions and the new collective labor agreement. We aim to reach new agreements by Friday 1 October at the latest. This is particularly important for pensions because the pension fund needs adjustment time to have the new scheme ready by 1 January 2022.
