CLA negotiations

It has been agreed in the current collective labor agreement that the parties to the collective agreement will evaluate the home working arrangements in the sector. Zorgverzekeraars Nederland (ZN) has made an inventory of ZN and its affiliated members. Everyone has a home working arrangement with agreements about the scope of working from home, workplace and compensation. This complies with the collective labor agreement for trade unions.

Employers have made a proposal to include a second cycle in the collective labor agreement in addition to the existing, more traditional interview cycle, which is based more on a continuous dialogue. The accompanying texts will be on the agenda next time.

At the request of the trade unions, we have received figures on the use of sabbatical leave. Approximately 3% (164) of employees in the sector have requested a sabbatical to date. Approximately 44% (73) of the sabbaticals relate to a period of 10 years before AOW.

The employers want to adjust the text in the collective labor agreement for health insurers about the indexation of the WIA benefit. The text would be unclear and require a lot of administration. We have asked a few questions about this and ZN will get back to you on Tuesday 6 July. The 6e In July we will also further discuss the various collective labor agreement proposals from employers and unions.

Retirement

In the case of retirement, this concerns the intermediate step to a collective variable pension scheme (CVP) as of 1 January 2022 and, some time later, the step to a new pension contract (NPC or WVP+). As an intermediate step, the parties to the collective labor agreement now want to improve pension accrual and have informed SBZ of our provisional choice for CVP. We must inform the fund of our final decision by 1 October 2021 at the latest. Before then I will come back to you with more information about what this intermediate step means for you and you can cast your vote on it.

In our discussions about the new pension contract (NPC and WVP+), we look at matters such as the implementation costs of the various contracts, risks during entry, legal snags and fiscal (im)possibilities. Pensioenfonds SBZ helps us with answers to our questions and AON provides us with pension information and results of calculations. At our request, SBZ has confirmed that they can offer both new pension contracts. Good to know!

Every time we look at an overview that includes which parties (cao parties and pension fund) which activities in the various project phases (orientation, risk appetite, ambition, choice and implementation of contract and sailing in) and when in time (2021 to 2024). have to take. This helps us and the SBZ pension fund to go through all the steps in the entire pension process properly.
