The 2023 calendar year ended at Signify with the knowledge that Signify does not wish to meet the requirements set out in the joint final offer from the unions and that a logical consequence of this means that formal ¾ meetings will have to take place prior to a possible action path.
¾ meetings
The planning for these ¾ meetings was set for January 11, 2024. Progressive insight has led to the unions deciding to temporarily suspend these ¾ meetings.
Mediation
The unions have informed Signify that they find the negotiation process very difficult and not very constructive. After all, the new collective labor agreement should have already entered into force on July 1, 2023 and we should have already started the collective labor agreement negotiations on the employment conditions from July 1, 2024. For these reasons, Signify has been asked to start a mediation process to see to what extent blockages can be removed. A jointly supported mediator has now been found so that this process can be started. This process is no excuse for the unions to unnecessarily further delay the progress of the collective labor agreement negotiations!
