Rabobank, De Unie and the other trade unions jointly reached agreement on Thursday, March 28, on the intended pension scheme in the new Future Pensions Act. The parties are convinced that the agreements made do justice to the interests of the employees. But also the interests of the other groups to whom the new pension scheme will apply, former employees and retirees.

Outline of the agreement
The negotiation result concerns all aspects of the new pension scheme, which will come into effect on January 1, 2026. We have also made agreements about the entry and vision of the collective labor agreement parties on dividing the buffer.

How further?
The text of the full negotiation result is now being recorded. We expect to have this ready by April 12. The members will then receive a complete overview of the agreements made De Unie. We would also like to explain the agreements in online webinars. In these webinars we explain the agreements made and there is plenty of room to answer questions.

To vote
De Unie will present the transition plan for the transition to the Wtp pension scheme to the members. Ultimately, the members decide whether De Unie can agree to this new pension scheme.
But we cannot yet directly ask the members to vote.
The main outline agreement that we have now reached will be discussed in April with the Rabobank Pensioners Association (VG-Rabobank) and coordinated with the Rabobank Pension Fund.
The opinion of these parties can influence the agreements of the collective labor agreement parties. This is not expected to lead to major changes. But one of the parties may have questions about the plans of the collective labor agreement parties with regard to entering and dividing the buffer. This may lead to adjustments in the negotiation result between Rabobank and trade unions.
We will present the final result to the members, we expect to be able to do this at the end of May or the beginning of June.
