The negotiations started

The first round of negotiations was on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. We took the time to explain the proposal letters and to ask questions about each other's proposal letters. De Unie, the other trade unions and NN have shared their commitment and explained their ambitions for the collective labor agreement process.

During the consultation it became clear that the themes of wages, purchasing power and social plan will be a major challenge. The vision of NN and De Unie are far apart. We also discussed the term, NN prefers a collective labor agreement with a term of 2 years. By means of De Unie it is explained why members prefer a term of 1 year. We'll probably get through this.

Social plan

NN has indicated that it wants to renew the social plan. Unfortunately, NN appears to be aiming for a significant reduction in severance pay.  De Unie finds this disturbing, especially for an organization where so many reorganizations are being implemented. We would rather talk about a dismissal-free NN.

The topics of generation pact, cost reimbursements and sustainable employability also emerge as important points. These are also given priority in the collective labor agreement agenda.

Stay Informed

The next round of negotiations is scheduled for Monday, October 9. The agenda includes wages and social plan. During the negotiations we will of course keep you informed via the usual member letters and via our website. In addition, it is now also possible for NN Group employees to stay informed through a special WhatsApp group. You can about that here read more.
