NN Group: Cao consultation postponed

29 August 2023

On July 26, 2023 you will receive the draft proposal letter from De Unie received. We have already received many responses from members. The fact that the response is so good means that the collective bargaining is important for many members.

What do members respond to?

The main topics that members respond to are:

  • Structural salary increase
  • Cost reimbursements
  • Generation scheme

We expected the salary increase to be an important topic for many members. The previous collective agreement was concluded before inflation rose so sharply. The collective labor agreements concluded later usually have a stronger salary increase. NN Group has now published its half-year figures. These look good. NN reports, among other things, a strong growth (almost 15%) in the operating result, a combined ratio above 90% and a solvency II ratio above 200%. Hopefully these figures will be a reason for NN to let its employees share in the good results.

How further

Have you not yet completed the draft proposal letter form? This is still possible through Wednesday, September 6, 2023. After this date, the executives will decide on the amendments to the proposal letter.

Cao consultation postponed

We also have bad news. The employer has decided to postpone the collective bargaining. The agreed start date, September 14, 2023, has been removed from the agendas by NN because not all parties are able to present the proposal letter in time. The collective labor agreement consultations will now start on 26 September. You will receive the report of the first consultation on 28 or 29 September 2023.

's negotiating delegation De Unie regrets this state of affairs. Letter of proposal from De Unie will in any case be ready at the agreed time.
