The KPN collective labor agreement expires at the end of 2023. For De Unie this is a reason to come up with a good commitment letter.
The collective labor agreement expires on December 31, 2023. A proposal letter will be used at the start of the negotiations. This contains the proposals that we would like to make an agreement about in the new collective labor agreement. We've already looked at a few topics. We also looked at last year's proposals and compared them with the results achieved. We will now include the topics on which we have not reached agreement. We are thinking of a structural wage increase that corrects inflation by an additional 1% and May 5 as an annual day off.
The power of a good commitment letter is partly determined by the involvement of our members. This input is important. We would like to know from our members what they consider important. After all, these are the employment conditions of our members.
The response period is open until October 27, 2023. The input will then be incorporated into the commitment letter with which we enter into the negotiations. Our members will of course receive the final version.
During the negotiations, our members are kept informed about the progress of the negotiations.
