Last month we informed our members about the pension result De Unie has achieved with Holland Casino. However, as always, the members have the final say and have now also agreed to the agreement.
Supplementary pension decision
Holland Casino and trade unions De Unie and FNV have reached an agreement on the year 2024. The actual premium of 24% will be maintained and the intended accrual percentage will remain the same until the transition date.
Implementing the new yield curve will create room to do some extra in 2024. This concerns the accrual percentage and is temporarily increased to 1,738%. In this case that is the legal maximum. De Unie believes this is a positive deviation from the collective labor agreement.
Pay attention to your Sustainable Employability Budget
Developing yourself is becoming increasingly important. That's what he thinks De Unie also. The key is that you can choose what you want to do and when. De Unie has made agreements in the past about the Sustainable Employability Budget in the collective labor agreement. You can build up €500 per year with a savings option of up to €2.500 in total. You can do something with that!
In the past, there has been a lot of hassle surrounding the allocation of these budgets within Holland Casino. Sometimes one person received a budget and the other did not with an almost identical application. De Unie has repeatedly stated that this must be improved.
Holland Casino recently communicated about this budget. Our members were asked to pay attention to the existence of the budget and tax-friendly training courses.
Glad to hear De Unie the experiences of our members with this. We emphasize that the Studytube instrument is a provider that is not literally mentioned in the collective labor agreement. In concrete terms, this means that if the offer is not available in Studytube, you can still submit an application that must be assessed. Holland Casino confirmed during the consultation that it would take this into consideration.
