A narrow majority of the members of De Unie has agreed to CZ's new social plan. Because the members of the other trade unions also agreed by a majority, the social plan is now a fact.

I, representative Inge de Vries, have passed on the results of the members' consultation to CZ. In my message to the employer, I emphasized that although a majority of the members has agreed, we must also note that support for this social plan – at least among our members – is limited.
I have asked CZ for further consultation because I would like to contribute to increasing satisfaction and improving the confidence of employees in the organization of CZ. The purpose of these consultations is not to achieve a higher severance payment. Now that the members of all trade unions have agreed in principle, CZ has no reason to improve the social plan.
