ABN AMRO reports periodic meetings on 12 January

Free one year member!

In your collective labor agreement, we have agreed with ABNAMRO that employees of the bank who will become members of De Unie, getting paid by ABNAMRO for the first year. You will therefore not receive an invoice, we will arrange this directly with the bank and your membership will automatically end after one year. As a member you will soon have the right to vote when establishing the new collective labor agreement, the social plan and the pension agreement. So register quickly here!

Working from home

If you work from home, it is important that you have a chair, desk and a computer to work with. This is properly indicated by ABN AMRO. But now that we have not or hardly ever travel, and do not work at the office, you also incur costs at home. That is why we would like to make an appointment about this. We have indicated this. But the bank first wants to have a policy for how it will work in the future. They are in the process of making this policy now; The future of work. Based on this new policy, the bank wants to agree on a fee for working from home.

Retirement

A pension study has been started in collaboration with Ortec. To share knowledge, this is a group with many parties. The pension fund, the pensioners, unions, executives and the bank participate in this. That way, everyone is aware of all parts of the national pension agreement. What can it mean, what is allowed, what must, what is possible and who is responsible for what. It is a complex whole and everything is not yet clear and defined in law. There are timelines and there will also be a communication plan. So that we can take everyone with us and keep them informed. Pension will therefore be on the agenda regularly.

CLA and social plan

De Unie had previously insisted on extending the social plan for a longer period of time. This with a view to the strategic review. For now, the bank does not want to agree. We have also urged to start negotiations on this at an early stage. And also to start early for a new collective labor agreement. We have discussed this further and we want to start negotiations for a new collective labor agreement and social plan before the summer. Dates will be planned soon.

Contact Center

During the negotiations on the ABN AMRO 2020-2021 collective labor agreement, we agreed that we would look together at the public holiday leave for the employees of the Contact Center. The reason for this is that employees find the current scheme too complicated.
The unions and the bank are currently discussing this. While we still have a few things to sort out, we are confident that we can agree on a new, simpler arrangement. As soon as we know more, you will hear from us.
