The Dutch government, together with employee and employer organizations, has agreed on a new pension system, which must be implemented before 2028. As a result, a switch to this new pension system must be made. The bank and the unions already had the first consultations about the new pension for ABN AMRO at the end of 2023. At the beginning of this year, the parties opted for a solidarity premium scheme that is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2027.
On Tuesday, March 12, the bank and the unions discussed a number of details of this scheme, such as the survivor's pension and how to deal with the pensions already accrued. Continued collective labor agreement on March 25 and 26, 2024
The parties will continue to discuss the new collective labor agreement on March 25 and 26. The bank and the unions then meet for two days to discuss all proposals from all parties.
