Sweco: CLA 2020 - 2021

January 28 2021
Sweco

We are almost there…………

Situation

The management, employee organizations and COR are negotiating the terms of employment (cao). Immediately after the employee meetings in December, we entered into consultations. During this meeting, it became apparent that the management now has a different view not only of the agreement in last year's collective labor agreement, but also of the results of the benchmark. Unlike the Central Works Council and the trade unions. We looked for a solution together. The parties have now come close to each other, but are not yet completely out.

Content

Much has been said about the collective agreement on how to deal with the results of the benchmark. The management has indicated that it considers the benchmark unsuitable on which to base such concrete numerical agreements. The uncertainties and variation in the results are too great for this. The trade unions and works council are prepared to think along with the management in this regard. As an approach, we have jointly opted for a good wage agreement for 2021. We also opt to offer a longer-term perspective in which salary development continues to grow in line with the development of the operating result, which means that we also continue to improve compared to our competitors. We continue to benchmark periodically, but as an indicator and not as an arbiter.

New offer

There is now a new offer from the management in which an ambitious and responsible wage development has been sought as far as possible. This offer goes beyond what is included in the 2021 budget. The trade unions and COR have moderated their initial wishes, leaving a small difference of opinion. This concerns the division between collective and individual, the phasing and a result-dependent part.
