If you work as an employee, you have terms of employment. They no longer apply when you leave your employment. Do you participate in your employer's pension scheme? Then it also stops. It is therefore very important to consider your pension when you say goodbye to your employer.
End of pension plan participation
If you no longer participate in the pension scheme, you will no longer accrue retirement pension. In addition, there are consequences for your survivor's pension. The benefit for your partner and children will in any case be lower, but it is also possible that they will no longer receive anything at all if you unexpectedly die.
Call for help
