What should I pay attention to?

This is also the case if you lose too few working hours, are not immediately available for new work and are not insured for unemployment. Therefore, check carefully whether you can count on a benefit.
What does this mean for me?
If you are eligible for unemployment benefit, this is for a maximum period of two years. Unless agreements have been made in your former collective labor agreement about a private addition of an extra year – check your old terms of employment for this.
