Last Friday, February 24, the UWV responded to the ultimate letter from the trade unions. They made a request to negotiate one last time with each other on Monday 27 February because they saw new room to come together.
A negotiation result has been reached in these consultations for the new collective labor agreement of the UWV. We negotiated intensively. We were still far apart at the start of this last extra day of negotiations. But all parties have worked hard. In the end we were able to make agreements that we think are good enough to present to the members. The negotiation result you can here .
Outlines of the negotiation result
- The salaries and salary scales will be structurally increased by:
– 6,5% as of January 1, 2023
– 2,5% as of December 1, 2023
This means that your salary has structurally increased by 2023% from December 9,1 (this does not apply to employees who have a salary that exceeds the maximum of their salary scale). - Duration of the collective labor agreement: 16 months.
- The travel allowance for other transport (own car) will be significantly improved by increasing the mileage allowance, increasing the maximum number of kilometers that are reimbursed and extending the scope for managers to allow other transport for business trips.
- Compensation for working from home of € 3 per day worked from home.
The members decide
We present the negotiation result to the members. They decide whether this collective labor agreement will be implemented. We would like to thank all the members who have helped over the past weeks and months. The large participation in the petition; the many people who sign up for action committees and other activities; the discussions in team meetings about the lack of a collective labor agreement. It all helped to convince UWV that they should offer employees a good collective labor agreement. It is also important to maintain this momentum together.
To vote
The members have received an invitation to vote. This is possible until March 17, 2023. We advise members to vote positively. This negotiation result is really equivalent to other collective agreements that have recently been agreed.
Member meetings
We have organized a membership meeting to vote on actions. We are going to give this members meeting a different character. We discuss the negotiation result with the members. If you have questions about the negotiation result, you can ask them in the members' meeting.
