Philips: newsletter in preparation for collective labor agreement negotiations

February 26 2024

The current Philips collective labor agreement expires on June 30, 2024. In previous years, the new collective labor agreement was always agreed after the term of the previous collective labor agreement. As a result, agreed wage increases will be applied later than the (passed) effective date of the collective labor agreement, because Philips does not want to implement increases retroactively.

Do you also want a new collective labor agreement in a timely manner?

This time we want to agree on a new collective labor agreement before the current collective labor agreement expires. That is why we plan to start the upcoming collective labor agreement negotiations well in advance. In preparation for this, we would like to know from the members what concerns them and what wishes they have for the new collective labor agreement.

Input is necessary!

You can help members with this here read our proposals and here the negotiation result from the previous collective labor agreement negotiation. This allows you to see what we have and have not been able to achieve in our efforts in 2022/2023. Based on this, members can also indicate what is still current for them and important to take into account in the coming negotiations.

What are you doing?

There will certainly be other topics that you find important. Let us know about those things! Obviously we cannot realize all wishes, but we will do our utmost.

Determine the content!

Until March 8, 2024, members can send us the topics by email (suat.koetloe@unie.nl) send. After receiving all responses, we will make an inventory together with our executives. Based on this, we will prepare a draft proposal letter. We present that concept to the members. After approval by the members, we then send these proposals to the employer.
