
As we tell you our letter of April 9, 2024 have informed, negotiations for a new collective labor agreement for the Metal and Technology sector have stalled. This is because employers are not willing to offer more than what they offer the last day of negotiations have suggested. This offer is absolutely insufficient to agree on a decent collective labor agreement. We have repeatedly urged employers to make a better offer for a wage increase that does justice to the restoration and improvement of purchasing power for employees in the sector. Unfortunately, employers do not want to negotiate further to achieve a better wage increase and other employment conditions.
