On December 5, we once again reached an agreement for a new collective labor agreement with employers in the Golf industry. And that is good news. Hereby the complete text of the agreement.
What do we think of the agreement?
We have previously noted that wages in the golf sector need to improve. Due to the increase in the minimum wage, the structural increases in salaries of a total of at least 7% and the adjustment of the wage structure (higher final scales, therefore more perspective), this collective labor agreement is another step in the right direction. The periodic step will also be doubled to 2024% with normal functioning from 2.
But we're not there yet. It has been agreed that we will continue to improve the wage structure in the coming collective labor agreement period. Much still needs to change to achieve a wage/job structure that better reflects practice and sector needs. For example, we want to incorporate more job groups into the wage structure and take a closer look at the height of the pay scales (market conformity) and the number of periodic steps per scale.
It has also been agreed that the sample scheme for travel expenses is now a collective labor agreement. This means that everyone is entitled to this. And in the near future, we will also continue research into the consequences of the new Future Pensions Act for the pension scheme(s) in the Gulf sector.
Employees can say it
A collective labor agreement does not just come about. If all goes well, all employees working in the Golf industry will receive a message from the independent agency InnerVoice. For a representative outcome, it is important that as many employees as possible respond. We hereby call on everyone to cast your vote. Based on the results of the vote among all employees De Unie decide whether or not to make the collective labor agreement final.
