Suat Koetloe and Peter Werger look back on the 1st day of negotiations

CLA proposals

During the meeting, employee and employer delegations explained their proposals and answered questions. The proposals of De Unie can you here read. These have been drawn up based on input from the members and in consultation with the framework group. It is nice to see that other trade unions have submitted proposals that are similar to those of De Unie and that there is optimal unity and solidarity on the employee side.

You can follow the proposals of the employers' delegation here find back.

Although the employers' side recognizes that there is a labor shortage in the sector and that it is important to recruit and retain good people, they do complain about disappointing figures and prospects that would limit wage space. They have not yet made a proposal regarding the wage increase for the new collective labor agreement. Concrete proposals from the employer have not yet been made. It is also incomprehensible to us that the employer calls for the phasing out of collective labor agreements under the guise of customization at company level. Although we are hopeful of a productive resumption of negotiations, we expect a long-term negotiation process.

Second round of negotiations

The second round of negotiations will take place on Wednesday, February 28. We will of course keep you informed of further progress!
