Cao Metalektro: There is a result

On July 14, the time had finally come, after a long time of campaigning we can finally present a result! It is now up to the members to approve the collective labor agreement result.

The main points of the result

The result contributes to an attractive sector for anyone who wants to work there. Whether you are young or old, man, woman, lhbtqiap you are welcome in the Metalektro. With the necessary attention to the sustainable employability of colleagues and future-proofing of the sector.

The main points of the agreements:

  • Duration
    The Metalektro collective labor agreement will have a term of 24 months, from December 1, 2020 to November 30, 2022
  • Pay raise
    • As of July 1, 2021 2,3%
    • As of February 1, 2022 3%

To compensate for the missed salary increase between December 1, 2020 and July 1, 2021, every employee who was employed on December 1, 2020 will receive a one-off payment of 2,3% over 7 times the monthly salary plus allowances from June 1, 2021. are higher than EUR 4.500, you will receive the one-off over a maximum of EUR 4.500 (excluding surcharges). You will receive the one-off in October 2021.

These agreements apply to every employee with an annual salary up to € 101.951 gross (this amount is indexed annually).

  • Early Retirement Scheme (RVU / heavy professions)
    For employees with a full-time monthly salary of a maximum of 4.000 euros (excluding allowances), or who have worked in shifts or on consignment work for at least 5 years or have received an SAO allowance, there will be a scheme to stop 3 years prior to the AOW. If you want to participate, you will receive a monthly payment of 1.847 euros gross.
  • Leave savings
    Agreements have been made to save up to a maximum of 100 weeks of leave in an external savings fund. If you now have a leave reservoir, you can transfer it to the savings fund within 4 years.
  • Generation pact
    The pilot on the Generation Pact will be extended unchanged until December 1, 2023 (more information about this can be found at For colleagues who have been waiting for this in recent months, it is finally clear that they can participate under the same conditions.
  • Overtime
    Mandatory overtime is limited to a maximum of 10 hours every 4 weeks.
  • Vakbondsleds
    During the term of the collective labor agreement, the contribution can be settled for tax purposes and all members receive one collective labor agreement training day to familiarize themselves with the collective labor agreement and the relationships within the sector.
