On December 9, 2024, De Unie held a petition among its members to gather input for the ongoing collective labor agreement (CLA) negotiations. Over 1,500 employees participated, demonstrating strong engagement in a short period.

- 2025 Salary Increase:
- 87% of participants believe the proposed increase is inadequate and delayed.
- 2026 Salary Increase:
- 92% feel the proposed increase is insufficient and postponed.
- Pay-for-Growth Model:
- 74% are against introducing this as a contractual employment condition.
Furthermore, many employees impacted by the Variable Compensation system expressed opposition to its inclusion in the CLA.
Negotiation Update:
During the December 9 session, discussions followed the same patterns as earlier meetings. ING’s management continued to cite a limited budget, leaving little room for improvements. Despite the strong petition support, it did not lead to significant adjustments in ING’s stance.
As a result, a negotiation outcome was reached. De Unie will present this outcome neutrally to its members for review and decision.

Pension Transition:
The voting process for the pension transition plan has concluded. The majority of members approved:
- The new pension scheme for the ING CDC Pension Fund.
- The transition to a Wtp scheme with Pensioenfonds ING.
All other involved parties have also agreed. Formal decision-making by both pension funds is the next step. De Unie will continue to inform its members about relevant developments.
