Recently, our members had the opportunity to vote on the social plan that De Unie and its fellow unions negotiated with Alfen. The results of the vote are in.

The Results of the Vote
The members of De Unie have unanimously approved the social plan. A large majority of members from the other unions have also voted in favor. This means the social plan is now in effect. The works council (OR) must now provide advice on the proposed reorganization. After this advice is given, the employer will make a final decision. Alfen will handle the communication regarding this.
Are You Redundant or Is Your Role Changing?
Have you been informed that your role is being eliminated or changing in a way that affects your terms of employment or working conditions? If so, please contact our Service Center at sc@unie.nl or call +31 345 851 851. Our Service Center will connect you with a colleague from De Unie who can answer your questions or provide additional support if needed. You can also reach out to the Service Center if you would like to have your settlement agreement (vso) reviewed or to have a new employment contract reviewed before signing with a new employer.
