With a staff discount, you get a benefit when you buy something in the store where you work. That benefit could change starting in 2027.
Now you can get up to 20% discounts. Up to € 500 per year. Without any additional tax for your employer. Starting January 1, 2027, the tax exemption may disappear. As a result, your staff discount may be lower. Or disappear. That is why 22 industry organizations, including Koninklijke inretail, are taking action. Together, they are calling on the Tweede Kamer to maintain the scheme.
