If Ebert HERA does not come up with a better offer, the action will be escalated. From Wednesday 16 September 2026, work will then cease daily from 15:00. The action committee decided this after all trade unions rejected Ebert HERA's final offer.

Ebert HERA has the opportunity to avert the industrial action. However, Ebert HERA will then need to cough up. The demands are clear: we want a collective labour agreement that ensures the maintenance of purchasing power and we expect Ebert HERA to take concrete measures to put an end to the culture of fear within the company. According to the employees, the current final offer lacks sufficient improvements on these key issues.
Call to Ebert HERA
Because union members have voted down the final offer, the unions' ultimatums remain in place and we have therefore decided to step up the action. We are giving Ebert HERA one final opportunity to come up with an improved collective labour agreement offer.
Unless a better offer is made, work will be downed at 3:00 pm every day from Wednesday 16 September.
If the employer is still unwilling to accommodate the employees' wishes after that, the actions will be stepped up even further:
- From 16 September, employees will down tools from 15:00.
- If a better collective labour agreement offer is not forthcoming, the work stoppages will be further expanded step by step.
Why are they taking action?
The message is clear:
- Preservation of purchasing power for all employees.
- An end to the culture of fear within Ebert HERA.
- Greater appreciation and respect for the dedication of employees.
The employees have shown that they are prepared to pull together to achieve these goals. Now it is up to the employer to come forward with a seriously improved proposal and to meet our demands as set out in the unions' proposal letters.
Together we are strong
A good collective labour agreement does not happen by itself. That is why it is important that as many employees as possible take part in the announced action. The stronger the joint message, the greater the chance of a collective labour agreement that does justice to the dedication of all employees.
Call for solidarity
The power of these actions lies in our mutual solidarity. Ebert HERA can only be successful thanks to the daily commitment of all employees. Precisely for this reason, it is important that we stand together now.
Take part in the work-to-rule action, speak to colleagues about the importance of a good collective labour agreement and support each other whenever necessary. Even if you are not a trade union member, this collective labour agreement affects you directly. Therefore, join the actions. Together, we are sending the message that employees deserve respect, have the right to maintain their purchasing power and want to work in an organisation without a culture of fear.
Only together can we persuade Ebert HERA to come up with a better collective labour agreement offer. Together we are strong.
