Following an initial exploratory meeting on 3 June, the collective labour agreement parties continued negotiations on 8 July 2025. These negotiations have now been suspended and will resume on 15 September (please note: this is a changed date).

The main topic of discussion on 8 July was – not surprisingly – the structural pay rise. On the one hand, we want to do justice to the employees' purchasing power developments. On the other hand, employers are highlighting the precarious economic situation of many companies in the sector as an important point of attention for the collective labour agreement negotiations.
In short, we definitely still have some bridges to cross regarding the amount of the pay rise. In the coming months, we will continue to consider how we can reconcile both interests in a balanced way that is acceptable to all parties.
