Technical Wholesaler: collective labour agreement update

10 October 2025

On Tuesday, 7 October 2025, the consultation on the collective labour agreement (CLA) between the CLA parties was scheduled to continue. In our previous message, we indicated that discussions regarding the term of the new CLA and the associated wage development are proving difficult.

Join now, this is possible from €0.

To prevent the collective labour agreement negotiations from reaching a deadlock, that formal consultation was converted into an informal consultation. In an informal consultation, parties can exchange ideas and identify room for negotiation without being directly bound to them.

At the end of the informal consultation, we agreed that all parties will consider a direction for a solution whereby the structural wage increase in the new collective labour agreement consists of a nominal part (a fixed amount) and a percentage part.

De Unie’s approach is based on the participatory model (all staff in the technical wholesale sector are involved in discussions and decision-making). And we want to agree on a pay rise that will maintain purchasing power! You can see our commitment here Re-read.

The next meeting will take place on 11 November 2025, and we expect to reach an agreement then.

Following the meeting on 11th November, we will of course provide an update as soon as possible.

Encourage your colleagues to join De Unie too – you can do so now from as little as €0!
