On 9 April 2024, we held our first consultation with the employer regarding the content of a social plan as a safety net for the consequences of the reorganisation announced by the management. During the meeting, the investigated scenarios, the alternatives sought, and the reasons for choosing this particular scenario were discussed extensively. The necessity of rapid intervention for the continuity of the organisation was also discussed. It is now up to the works council to form an opinion on its usefulness and necessity and to issue advice to the employer.

Social plan
During the meeting, the employer also made a proposal for a social plan. We have now received this draft proposal for a social plan in writing. Please read here the concept proposal. In the members' meeting, we will discuss this proposal with the members and they can ask questions about it. We will then give our opinion on it and jointly determine our commitment to a social plan. The members' meetings are only accessible to members of the trade unions.
These general meetings will be held on:
- Zwijndrecht, Wednesday 17 April 2024, from 14:30 to 15:30.
- Maastricht, Thursday 18 April 2024, from 2.00 PM to 3.00 PM and from 10.30 PM to 11.00 PM.
- Oosterhout, Tuesday 30 April 2024, from 06:30 to 07:00 and from 14:30 to 15:30.
The next consultation with the employer will take place on 2 May. We will keep members informed of further developments.
