Signify: Feedback from third negotiation round

12 December 2025

Last Monday (8th December 2025), the four trade unions continued discussions with Signify's negotiation delegation regarding a new collective labour agreement. Unfortunately, we have not yet reached an agreement and therefore it has been decided to postpone the discussions until January 2026.

WORD LID

We would be happy to explain this step to you clearly:

Signify's wage offer for a one-year collective labour agreement is far below our demands. The gap between the offer and our demands is so large that there is little point in discussing it further: small steps will not quickly lead to an offer that seems acceptable to the employees.

The proposal by Signify to worsen the Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) is also not negotiable for us at this time. The CLA expires on 31 December 2025. We have urgently requested Signify to extend the current CLA unchanged as it expires on 1 January 2026. Signify was unwilling to commit to this and stated that they wish to consult internally about this matter.

So the negotiation on that will also be postponed to January 2026.

Our commitment to secondary benefits has not yet been discussed either.

At the beginning of January, we will reconvene to discuss both a new collective labour agreement and an extension of the CSP. We will then update the members on the progress.
