After four collective labour agreement meetings, little progress has been made. It was only during the fourth session, just before the summer holidays, that Philips made an opening offer for the collective labour agreement. Unfortunately, this offer is considerably lower than what we had hoped for or expected.
Join now, this is possible from €0.
What does Philips offer?
Philips is proposing a pay rise of just 1.6% per year (2% over 15 months), whilst we are demanding at least compensation for the 6.9% loss in purchasing power you have suffered. This is quite apart from our proposals to further improve your purchasing power. This difference is substantial and cannot simply be bridged.
But it's not just about salary. Philips also remains silent on other important issues such as:
- Work pressure and work-life balance: The work-life balance needs to improve.
- 80/90/100 scheme Flexible working hours are needed for a better work-life balance.
- Support for young employees with student debt More help and understanding for the challenges faced by young employees.
Central Social Plan (CSP)
We want an improved Central Social Plan that also supports temporary employees and agency workers. Furthermore, we believe that salaries should not decrease when taking on a new role within Philips. These are essential points that Philips must take seriously in the negotiations.
