The vote on the new Philips collective agreement has closed. Many of our members took the trouble to take part in the webinar and the online members’ meetings, and subsequently cast their votes. Despite significant opposition due to Philips introducing a difference in pay rises between the various professional groups, the vote has concluded positively. Over 78% of the members who voted have approved the outcome of the negotiations of 10 May 2023. This means that an agreement has been reached. This has also been communicated to Philips.
In the message to Philips, we naturally mentioned the resistance that has arisen due to the difference in salary increases between the staff groups. We have indicated that we will continue to agenda this topic for future discussions within Philips.
Member engagement is high. This is evident not only from the high turnout at the webinar, but also from the many connections that have been forged. We would therefore like to thank everyone for the trust they have placed in De Unie.
