With effect from 1 August 2026, Sjerp Holterman will hand over his duties as representative on behalf of De Unie at ASML to our colleague Jesse van Roeden.
After six years as a negotiator and representative representative for De Unie members at ASML, it is time for him to pass on the baton. However, this does not mean that anything will change in the way De Unie represents its members’ interests within ASML. On the contrary: with Jesse van Roeden at the helm, the continuity of our services and advocacy is guaranteed.
As a negotiator representing De Unie for the Metalektro collective agreement, Jesse is closely involved in developments within the sector. In this role, he also oversees the work with individual companies. As the largest and leading employer within the Metalektro sector, ASML is therefore a logical addition to his portfolio. Furthermore, Jesse is already fully up to speed on the current issues, ongoing matters and the situation within ASML. This means he will be able to continue representing members’ interests without interruption from 1 August.
Sjerp looks back on the past six years with great pleasure. During that time, we have achieved a great deal together. Thanks to your commitment, openness and trust, we have always been able to work towards good terms of employment and a strong position for De Unie within ASML, even in challenging situations. He is sincerely grateful to you for that.
Sjerp is therefore handing over his duties to Jesse with peace of mind. He has every confidence that Jesse will continue to work in your best interests with the same expertise, commitment, and dedication. He hopes and expects that he can rely on the same constructive collaboration that he has experienced in recent years.
