Retirement

We have developed a common line of thinking about pensions for the coming years. This means that an interim solution is found before we make a final choice in the new pension law. Continuation of the current average pay scheme is now too much at the expense of the pension accrual of the participants. With a defined contribution scheme, more pension can be accrued in the coming years than with the current average pay scheme. More information about this can be found in the explanation. In the coming consultations, we will discuss this defined contribution scheme in more detail. As soon as we're done with that, I'll ask de Uniemembers to vote on it.

High

In addition to the pension consultation, the new collective labor agreement was also discussed. The current collective labor agreement runs until 30 September 2021. Employers and trade unions have explained and commented on each other's proposals for the new collective labor agreement. We seem to be in agreement on a large number of points and on a number of points, including wages, we still have some negotiating to do.

Continuation

On Thursday 2 September we will resume negotiations about wages, pensions and other subjects for the new collective labor agreement. We aim to reach new agreements before 1 October. This is especially important for pensions because the pension fund needs adjustment time to have the new scheme ready for you as of 1 January 2022.
