Approximately 63% of the voters indicated that they agree with the new social plan. 25% voted against. The other voters indicated that they were unable to take a position.
Several members indicated that for some of the employees (especially older people with longer employment contracts) the social plan entails too great a decline. However, the majority of the members of De Unie has voted yes, so the social plan VGZ is now a fact. The members of the other trade unions have also agreed.
Consult with VGZ
Concerns about severance pay for older employees with long-term employment have passed De Unie discussed with VGZ. VGZ has indicated that it will quickly come up with a calculation tool so that employees can at least make a correct calculation. Although a good calculation tool is of course important, that was not the answer I wanted to achieve with my comment.
Application of the social plan
Are you employed by Credit Management or Policy Administration and are you involved in the recently announced reorganization? Then the new social plan will apply to you. The social plan offers various instruments to improve your chances on the labor market. Sometimes temporary workers who lose their job at VGZ can also make use of this. Make use of these facilities on time, the labor market is not expansive at the moment.
