VGZ collective labor agreement negotiations
Consultations on the new VGZ collective labor agreement have started. On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, all parties indicated which changes they want to make to the terms of employment. De Unie incorporated the ideas of the members into a letter of proposals. The negotiations have started in a positive atmosphere. There is quite some overlap between the proposals of VGZ on the one hand and trade unions on the other. But there are of course also subjects that we view differently.

How does it go on?
We will now first draw up an overview of the various proposals and group them into themes. We then determine the order of treatment of the themes. It is important to first focus on the themes about which all parties have the same opinion. That creates a positive atmosphere. But it is certainly also important to start on the difficult subjects in time. Because the subjects on which the parties have different views should not become the closing point of the negotiations.
Employability
In the proposal letter asks De Unie to VGZ to invest more in its employees. This is an important topic. De Unie wants more effort from VGZ, but we also offer our members the opportunity to do so via De Unie and our cooperation partner to work on your own development. We often hear from members that they prefer to work on their development independently, without the intervention of their manager.
