Tata Steel collective labor agreement negotiations 2019
February 26 2019
Negotiations on a renewal of the Tata Steel collective agreement will start on 28 February 2019. The proposals including the offer letter from De Unie is here to read.
The proposals are based on the 2019 perspective memorandum of De Unie. This one is read here. The proposals were discussed at a reasonably attended members meeting in December 2018. This resulted in the focus on two matters: wages and (all forms of) leave. Furthermore, the members present unanimously expressed their concerns about the sometimes poor condition of the installations of Tata Steel. This concern has De Unie also addressed to the employer in the letter of application.
Tata Steel also has a proposal letter to De Unie sent. Click here to read this letter.
The negotiating delegation consists of Yvonne Adelaar, executive member of De Unie and employed by Asset Data Management (ADM), and Gertjan Tommel, representative of De Unie.
The negotiation dates that are currently fixed are:
- February 28, 2019 from 13.00 p.m. to 18.00 p.m.
- March 6, 2019 from 10.00 a.m.
- March 27, 2019 from 10.00 a.m.
